Brief Personal Information

My name is Nolan Roberts and I am a 7th semester Marketing major with a minor in Management Information Systems here at Penn State Behrend. Over my years here I have accomplished many projects. Also through my time here at Penn State I have grown as an individual and taken up a few hobbies.

My freshman year of college, I attended Saint Bonaventure University on a scholarship to play Division 1 baseball for them. I was enrolled as a Marketing Major there. I ended up transferring in my sophomore year to Behrend. The summer before my junior year, I was playing baseball for the Lake Erie Pirates in the Glenwood Summer Baseball league, I ended up with a minor tear in my MCL along with it being stretched to double the length it should be. This ended my career with baseball, as the recovery time after a Tommy John surgery is longer than what my stay at Behrend would have been. Through focusing on my school work and work itself, I have bettered myself as an individual and have accomplished much more than I had before.

Hobbies

Erie has many different things to offer in terms of outdoor hobbies. Two hobbies really have taken the stage for me. The first one being mountain biking, which I do here at Wintergreen Gorge on Penn states Campus, the second being skiing at Peak N Peak Resort and Spa, which is located in Clymer, New York. I am also an avid computer gamer. Games that I frequent are Counter Strike and OldSchool RuneScape.
